We resurface pools, fit the finishes that go on them and fix what is underneath. Every job starts with an inspection and a written quote, and we will tell you straight if a cheaper option is all your pool needs. Here is what we do, and how to work out where to start.

Resurfacing and finishes

Pool resurfacing

The full job: drain, strip, repair, finish and fill. We grind back to sound render and deal with what is underneath before any new surface goes on. This is the page to start with if your pool is rough, stained, flaking or tired.

Pebble finishes

A tough, textured, natural-looking surface that hides wear well. A good fit if you want a long-life finish.

Quartz finishes

Smoother underfoot with an even colour and a range of water tones. A popular choice for families with young kids.

Pool tiling

Fully tiled interiors and waterline bands, plus replacing loose or drummy tiles. The premium option.

Pool coping replacement

The edge of your pool, done while the pool is empty. Cracked, loose or dated coping is cheapest to replace during a resurface.

Paint and repairs

Pool painting

Sometimes paint is the honest answer, usually on a sound shell with a short horizon or a tight budget. We will tell you when it is, and when it is not.

Pool repairs

Diagnosing and fixing the cause rather than painting over it. Three common repairs have their own pages:

How to choose where to start

If you are not sure what your pool needs, this is a rough guide:

  • Rough, stained or flaking surface: start with pool resurfacing
  • Hollow sounds, cracks or water loss: start with pool repairs
  • Sound shell, faded surface, tight budget: read about pool painting
  • Deciding between finishes: start with the pebble and quartz pages, then the tiling page

Our FAQ page answers the questions we hear most, and if you want a second opinion on what your pool needs, an inspection is the quickest way to find out.

Not sure? That is normal. We inspect first, tell you straight what the pool needs and quote that work in writing. If a cheaper option is enough, we will say so.

Where we work

We cover Greater Sydney within about 50 km of the CBD. See the service areas page for your region, or get in touch to arrange an inspection. Booking early gives you the widest choice of dates, whether you want to swim by November, by Christmas or later in summer.

The Done-Once Method

Five steps we run on every resurface, so it only has to be done once.

  1. InspectWe look at the shell, render, tiles and coping, and tell you straight what we find.
  2. QuoteOne written quote for the real job. No lowball that grows later.
  3. PrepDrain, grind back to sound render, cut out cracks and drummy spots.
  4. ResurfaceApply the finish you chose, by hand, in the right conditions.
  5. Fill and hand overFill, balance the water start-up with you, and walk you through care.

Experience you can see in the finish.

We've spent 17 years learning what makes a pool surface last in Sydney conditions: the prep nobody sees, the repairs that stop cracks coming back, and the finishes that suit each pool. You deal with the people who do the work, from the first inspection to handing back a full pool.

Straight answers

Which service do I need first?

Start with an inspection. A rough or flaking surface usually points to resurfacing, and hollow sounds or leaks point to repairs. We tell you which after we see the pool.

Can I book just one service, like coping or tiling?

Often yes, though it is cheapest to do coping and tiling while the pool is empty for a resurface. We will say what makes sense for yours.

Do you do repairs without a full resurface?

Where a repair is all the pool needs, yes. If the surface has also failed, repairing alone may not last, and we will tell you.

Do all your services need the pool emptied?

Most do, because the work is done on a dry shell. We check ground conditions and the hydrostatic valve before draining.
